The Weekly Wag, Issue #2

Delta Dog Welcome to the second issue of The Weekly Wag. Each week you’ll find quick news and updates on the ctcLink project.

Need a Brief Break from Reality?

Finding accreditation-related documents on the website can be tricky, especially for those with paws and hooves. How did Delta Dog and Ace the Accreditation goat fare in the quest to find the fabled MFR? Learn more at “ Project Mascots Go Hoof to Paw in 2020 Docu-Race Championship ,” where you can also watch the race.

New Lunch and Learn on Friday

Eat and engage with Delta Dog and friends on Friday, Oct. 2, at noon. Lunch and Learn with Delta Dog gives our campus community an informal chance to ask questions of the ctcLink team. Join us Friday and learn what Delta Dog eats for lunch.

Word of the Week

While you learn and work with ctcLink and its software, PeopleSoft, you’ll come across many words and terms. To help you learn the lingo, here’s this week’s word (find others on the Terminology page):

Delta DogCampus Solutions (CS) : One of the three main working systems — referred to as “pillars” — in the PeopleSoft software that runs ctcLink. Campus Solutions (CS) will manage student administration, including admissions, financial aid and student records. It will replace the Student Management System (SMS), Financial Aid Management (FAM) and Degree Audit. The other two pillars are Finance and Human Capital Management.

Countdown Calendar

The clock is ticking. Just 87 working days until Highline goes live with ctcLink on February 8, 2021.

Get Social

Delta Dog wants to connect with her two-legged campus friends through social media. Join her on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter.

Win With ctcLink Training

All employees will need to know the basics of ctcLink. Everyone will use the new system to submit timesheets, request and report leave, and manage personal information. What can you do to prepare? Take the self-paced training courses. Go to the Training page for directions. If you’re confused about which courses are right for you, talk to your supervisor or email Delta Dog. And see the Sept. 14 blog post, “Delta Dog Offers Tips for Tackling Training,” to learn how you can win a $25 Amazon gift card.
