Math Resource Center

Need help with your math class? Find it at the Math Resource Center, which also offers workshops and instructional resources to help you succeed.

Tutoring Center

Find help for many academic subjects (except math and writing) at the Tutoring Center. For help with math, see Math Resource Center; for writing, see Writing Center.

Writing Center

The Writing Center provides one-on-one help with your writing. Writing consultants are strong student writers who are trained to mentor fellow students. They will help you understand assignments, develop and support ideas, organize drafts and learn editing strategies. The center also offers special workshops on grammar and style.

Public Speaking Center

If you’re looking for help with your next presentation or speech, The Public Speaking Center is here to help. The PSC offers 30 minute tutoring sessions focusing on topic research, preparing your presentation and managing anxiety in front of a group.

Highline’s Tutoring Center provides support to all Highline students. Peer tutors, who are trained and internationally certified, assist students in a variety of subjects. Drop-in, group tutoring, one-on-one consultations, and workshops are free to all currently enrolled students.
