Do you need money for college? The Highline College Foundation is now offering scholarships for the 2019–20 academic year.
All students are encouraged to apply, including part-time, undocumented and international students.
Whether you are an incoming student or one just about to graduate, there may be the perfect scholarship for you.
Scholarships awards are not based only on need or merit. Some scholarships target single parents while others look for students who have overcome obstacles. Still others are based on the program or degree a student is pursuing, such as engineering, music and nursing.
When applying, have the following information and documents handy:
- Unofficial transcripts
- Student identification number
- Financial aid information (for need-based scholarships)
You should also be prepared to write an essay, which will vary in length depending upon the scholarship.
Last year, Highline students received more than $200,000 in scholarships from the Foundation.
