Prepare for U.S. citizenship

New class to begin with Saturday option

Highline College will be offering a free course for community members who are preparing to take the U.S. Citizenship Test. The course has open enrollment, and you may register throughout the quarter. You will learn from an instructor who is trained in the content and who has significant teaching experience with English language learners. You will receive help with preparing for the test, application procedures, and follow-through on the steps to becoming a U.S. citizen. Bring your permanent resident card and driver’s license or identification card. You may also qualify for a waiver of the fee to take the citizenship test. Help is available to apply for the fee waiver. You can enroll in the Monday/Wednesday option or the new Saturday option.

Course: Preparing for the U.S. Citizenship Test

Dates/Times:

  • Option 1: weekday course during spring quarter
    • Mondays and Wednesdays, April 1–June 10, 2015
    • 1–2:50 p.m.
  • Option 2: two-quarter course during spring and summer quarters
    • Saturdays, April 4–August 29 (except June 13 and June 20)
    • 1–3 p.m.
