Deciding on which college classes to take is important. So is figuring out how to pay for them.
For students who want to attend Highline College in the fall of 2016, now is the time to plan. One of the first steps is applying for financial aid.
Even if you believe you are not eligible for financial aid, complete the application anyway. You may be surprised. The new Free Application for Federal Student Aid—or FAFSA—for 2016–17 is ready.
Many students use financial aid to help pay for college. At Highline College, approximately 5,000 students taking college-level classes receive financial aid.
How do you apply? Highline’s Financial Aid office outlines how to apply for aid and even offers a handy checklist.
Nearly 17,000 part-time and full-time students attend Highline each year. The college offers certificate programs, two-year degrees in a wide range of programs and applied bachelor’s degrees in four high-demand fields. Highline also offers pre-college, basic education, short-term training programs and continuing education.
