Start Math Right Away: Math is a prerequisite for almost all science and engineering sequences. Get your placement early through Entry Advising (or email entryadvising@highline.edu). Continuous math progress keeps your science and engineering sequences moving on schedule.

Keep Momentum: Take math every quarter and finish course series (like Physics or Chemistry) back-to-back at Highline so your credits transfer smoothly as a complete unit.
- Not all classes are offered every quarter: Meet with an advisor to develop an academic plan, especially if you do not start in Fall quarter.
