How to Use the Space

Drop-In: Stop by during open hours to use equipment, work on personal or class projects, and get hands-on assistance.

Borrow Tools: Want to use equipment outside the lab? Fill out the Equipment Checkout Form.

Reserve for Groups: Faculty and student groups looking to host a project or class session can submit the Request to Use Makerspace Form (minimum 3 business days notice required).

Your imagination is the limit! ThunderLab supports STEM coursework, humanities projects, creative hobbies, and personal experiments. Past projects include:

Stephaney holds a Ph.D. in Geobiology and loves helping students learn fabrication, 3D printing, and laser cutting. Stop by to learn new tools, troubleshoot a design, or collaborate on your next big idea!
