Joshua Brumley
Joshua R. Brumley is the founder and CEO of Brumley Law Firm, a fast growing personal injury practice serving clients across Washington State. His firm helps individuals navigate the aftermath of car accidents and other injuries with compassion and legal expertise.
Born and raised in Tacoma, Josh attended the University of Washington before earning
his MBA from Jacksonville University and his law degree from Florida Coastal School
of Law. Since becoming a licensed attorney in 2015, he has built a reputation for
being client focused and results driven. His leadership earned Brumley Law Firm a
place on the Inc. 5000 list for its rapid growth.
Josh is the author of Protect Your Neck, an Amazon best seller offering guidance to
accident victims, and he hosts the Iron Mind Podcast. He also serves as a pro tem
judge and teaches at the University of Washington Tacoma’s Milgard School of Business.
Recognized as a Rising Star by Super Lawyers, he remains committed to helping others
succeed during challenging moments.

Che' Dawson
Ché Dawson began teaching in the Legal Studies Department at Highline College in the Fall of 2003. He has taught a variety of the required legal courses including Introduction to Law, Civil Procedures, Legal Research and Writing, and Ethics.
Che' began teaching courses cross listed with the Diversity and Globalism Department in the Spring of 2005. The first course he developed was Immigration Law and The Rights of Non-citizens, a subject consistent with Che's area of legal practice. Che' has developed courses in Sports Law and Constitutional Law, and teaches Criminal Law and Procedure, Criminal Justice and Juvenile Justice.
Che' came to Highline after practicing law in a variety of areas of civil law and immigration with Karr Tuttle Campbell, a downtown Seattle Law firm. Che' maintains a Senior Attorney role with Ogden Murphy Wallace.
Che' also coaches the Highline College Men's Basketball team.

Roland Mitchell
Roland Mitchell is an attorney with an established record in a variety of areas in law where paralegals are integral contributors to the organization's success. Prior to his current role in Boeing's Legal and Global Compliance department, he served as managing counsel for the Bank of New York Mellon for 10 years and has also worked in the areas of estate planning and personal injury. Roland is a United States Air Force veteran and has been teaching the "Legal Estate Planning and Probate" and "Introduction to Law" courses at Highline College over the past four years.

Kevin Rainge
Kevin is an experienced Senior Legal Counsel with a demonstrated history of working in the IT, insurance and health care industries. He is skilled in Privacy, Artificial Intelligence, Employment Law, Legal Compliance, Contracts, Governmental Affairs, and Commercial Litigation. Kevin has over ten years experience at Highline College teaching Introduction to Law, Business, Law, Employment Law, and other legal studies courses. He holds BA in Political Science from the University of California Davis, and a Juris Doctor from the University of Oregon School of Law.

J.D. Smith
J.D. Smith of Mercer Island, Washington is a veteran trial lawyer who has 27 years of experience. working with paralegals. J.D. has tried over 60 civil jury trials to verdict and completed over 100 arbitrations. J.D. is a former member of the American Bar Association (ABA) House of Delegates and a former President of the Washington State Bar Association Young Lawyers Division. J.D. has also taught legal courses at the University of Washington School of Law.
