Hotels & Resorts

With over 500 hotels in the Seattle area and new ones opening constantly, there is a high demand for managers and operations staff.
Cruise Lines Seven major lines, including Carnival and Royal Caribbean, sail out of the Port of Seattle. Each offers hundreds of career paths.
Food & Beverage This is the largest employer in the industry. While starting roles vary, restaurant managers in Washington often earn high salaries.
Aviation Management SeaTac Airport supports nearly 80,000 jobs. With passenger numbers growing every year, the possibilities are nearly limitless.
Event Management This field is growing fast! Events include weddings, sales and marketing at hotels, conferences such as those taking place at Seattle's two large convention centers, sports management, and much more.
Casino Operations Major local hubs like Muckleshoot and Tulalip hire hundreds of staff for gaming, entertainment, and dining operations.
