Business Technology is build around a set of "stackable" certificates and degrees. We meet you wherever you are ready to start! Short certificates can be completed in 3 to 6 months, and provide a basic skill set for entry-level positions. If you decide to continue, each short certificate can be "counted" toward a 1-year certificate, which in turn counts toward a 2-year AAS (Associate of Applied Science) degree in Business Technology Management. If you're ready, dive right in and start with the AAS degree.

One Year Certificates: Administrative Assistant, Administrative Virtual Assistant, Social Media Specialist. Two Year AAS Degree - Business Technology Management. BAS Applied Science.

I-BEST Classroom Support

Many classes in our short certificates are offered in a supportive I-BEST classroom environment. In an I-BEST classroom, there are 2 teachers in the classroom. One teacher focuses on job-training content and the other on academic skills. Instruction in reading, writing, speaking, listening, technology, and academic skills are blended with the Business Technology's specific class content. All BSTEC classes offered in the I-BEST format count toward BSTEC certificates and degrees. We see documentable improvement in course grades and retention for students who receive I-BEST support.
