Highline Wins 7 Marketing and Communications Awards

Highline College’s Communications and Marketing team took home seven Medallion Awards during the National Council for Marketing and Public Relations (NCMPR) District 7 Conference, which was held Oct. 18-20.

The district comprises community colleges across Washington state, Oregon, Idaho, Montana, Alaska and the Canadian provinces of Alberta, British Columbia, Saskatchewan and Yukon Territory.

“I am incredibly proud of our dedicated team for their unwavering commitment to excellence,” Highline College’s Director of Marketing, Design and Production Tony Johnson said. “These seven awards from the National Council for Marketing and Public Relations are a testament to our collective passion for storytelling and innovation. As we continue to push boundaries and connect with our audience, we remain inspired to shape the future of communication and marketing at Highline College.”

The NCMPR Medallion Awards recognize outstanding achievement in design and communication at community and technical colleges in each of NCMPR’s seven districts. The regional competition is exclusive to marketing and public relations professionals at two-year colleges.

According to the council, NCMPR is the only organization of its kind that exclusively represents marketing and public relations professionals at community and technical colleges. As one of the fastest-growing affiliates of the American Association of Community Colleges, NCMPR has more than 1,600 members from nearly 550 colleges across the United States and Canada.
