Question of the Week

Delta Dog loves getting questions from her human friends. Here’s a recent one:

Dear Delta Dog,
I finished the 9.2 PeopleSoft Fundamentals course and want to learn more about ctcLink. But, that course was long and I’m afraid I won’t have time. Are all of the courses that long?
— Eager but time-starved

Dear Eager but time-starved,
Thankfully, the other courses are much shorter. PeopleSoft Fundamentals is made up of eight modules and usually takes 4 to 6 hours to complete. (Time varies based on your learning style.) Other courses won’t take nearly that long. For example, the next recommended course is ES100 HCM Employee Self-Service, which only takes one to two hours to complete. If you earn a paycheck at Highline, be sure to take those two courses by February 8 so you are ready when we go live. Learn more at “2 Crucial Courses for ctcLink Success.”

Word of the Week

While you learn and work with ctcLink and its software, PeopleSoft, you’ll come across many words and terms (find them on the Terminology page). This week’s word is not used in PeopleSoft, but it’s one we’re using on Highline’s journey to ctcLink:

woof
Delta Dog’s favorite word. Normally quiet, Delta Dog will let loose with a woof! to express gratitude or delight.
