Four Hours of Free Food, Fun and Festivities at GlobalFest 2015

Exploring the world is a snap when it is conveniently located in one spot. Come to Highline’s campus for GlobalFest, a free annual cultural celebration for our community on May 9, 2015, 1–5 p.m. A student-led event, GlobalFest features food, performances and interactive displays from around the world. Guests can visit country-themed booths, learn games and crafts and meet people who have an interest in sharing and exploring different cultures.

The theme of this year’s celebration is “Color Your World.” The event is free and open to the public and will be held on the college’s main campus in the Highline Student Union (Building 8).

Culture Booths: 1–3:15 p.m.
Performances: 3:15–5 p.m.

GlobalFest celebrates the many cultures in our community and on campus. People representing more than 120 cultures attend classes at the college, including more than 800 international students from across the globe. With 70 percent students of color, Highline ranks as the most diverse higher education institution in Washington state.
