Highline College’s president, Dr. Jack Bermingham, will be one of the invited guests to a dinner Tuesday evening, September 22, featuring Chinese President Xi Jinping. The dinner is designed for business leaders and other dignitaries, including Henry Kissinger. Xi is expected to deliver a speech.

The dinner location is a tightly held secret. Bermingham has not been provided with many details, except that he will be transported from a meeting location to the dinner with other attendees.

Tuesday is the first day of the Chinese President’s brief three-day, two-night stay in our region.
