Climate change is already causing problems in our communities, impacting our livelihoods, our health, our food supply and our infrastructure. Be a voice for change – learn the reality of climate change in the Pacific Northwest. Resources and solutions for combating climate skepticism, and acting on climate change will be provided.
Each month the MaST Center hosts an educational speaker series that is sponsored by Highline College. Science on the Sound attracts local, regional, and national experts who share their knowledge with the local community, generally focusing on interests of the Puget Sound Region. Science on the Sound provides a variety of speaker topics so that we can brush upon peoples differing interests.
Discussions are held in the classroom at the MaST Center on the dates listed below. Speakers give 45 minute presentation.
