In honor of National Poetry Month 2023, Rick Barot will be at Highline to share his skills and knowledge in a poetry reading and writing workshop. Rick Barot is the author of four poetry collections including Chord (2015), and The Galleons (2020). His poems and essays have appeared in the New York Times, The New Yorker, Poetry magazine, the Kenyon Review, and others. He directs the Rainier Writers Workshop MFA at Pacific Lutheran University.
