TikTok and Viral Misinformation
During this event, we will analyze and evaluate TikTok videos to get participants thinking about how we determine if something is credible and trustworthy, especially in video form, like on TikTok. In addition, participants will learn about “markers of credibility” that can help us determine if a video is trustworthy and therefore safe to share. Participants will have fun and leave empowered to navigate online information spaces with more confidence.
