This month’s Bring Your Kids to College STEAM workshop is all about the science of phase changes. We will explore the different states of matter, which are liquids, solids, and gases. What is a liquid and how does it become a solid or a gas? Just increase or decrease the temperature, you say? You only thought you knew! Come learn the truth through hands-on activities and experiments with various household materials to make non-Newtonian fluids, polymers, and more. Yes, this means lots and lots of slime! Plus elephant toothpaste, balloon-powered cars, chemical reaction experiments, and more including lab coats and safety glasses.
