Bringing the Past Forward
Presented by Luzviminda Uzuri “Lulu” Carpenter
Bring the Past Forward is a mini-multimedia historical presentation where participants will collectively build a social justice movement timeline. By building a historical timeline, a collective memory will be created so participants can bring the past forward and it can be utilized in the present day. If we listen deeply to our past and current stories, what new visions and values can we build for our individual and collective leadership?
