“Economic Growth through the Port of Seattle” presented by Port of Seattle C.E.O. Ted Fick
Highline College invites the community to learn about the impact of the Port of Seattle and the future economic growth of our area. Port of Seattle’s C.E.O. Ted J. Fick will explain the Port’s vital role in our region and its plan to generate economic growth for our region over the next 25 years.
The Port of Seattle has a unique mission: to create jobs by advancing trade and commerce, promoting industrial growth and stimulating economic development. Its goals include attracting new businesses and tourists to our area, promoting small business and workforce development, and being the greenest and most energy-efficient port in North America.
The event is hosted by the Center of Excellence for Global Trade and Supply Chain Management located at Highline College.
