It’s all to easy to look at our elections landscape and feel discouraged. On the national level, it’s difficult to feel like you’re making an impact. On the local level, however, all the races, legislation, and ballot initiatives can make it even more challenging to get involved.

This workshop will clarify the confusion and go over the basics of civic engagement., non-traditional civic involvement identity and the political process, and why it’s important to pay attention.

Presented by: Mitchell Chen, Program manager at Asian Pacific Islander Americans for Civic Empowerment (APACE)
