Construction Alert: Building 6 East Plaza Project

  • Image of Building 6 on Highline College campus

Building 6 is open, but watch for construction activity in front of the east entrance as crews work on the plaza. From May 7 to May 24, the contractor will be painting and doing concrete work for the new canopy.

The east entrance will remain open, but foot traffic may be stopped temporarily while equipment is moved. When possible, use the west entrance.

And, be cautious when you walk to and from the East parking lot to Building 6. Construction vehicles may be in the area and a portion of the parking lot may be barricaded for material and equipment delivery.

What’s Going On?

The contractor is painting and installing a new canopy for the Building 6 plaza.

A student-funded project, the canopy will provide protection from the weather as people wait for transportation in the East parking lot.
