Students Will Be Entered Into $500 Scholarship Drawing
When you get vaccinated at one of our upcoming vaccine clinics, you will get a free pair of Highline College 60th anniversary commemorative socks and become eligible for a scholarship.
In partnership with 6M Geriatrics and King County Public Health, Highline College is hosting a weekly COVID-19 vaccine clinic on campus throughout September.
This recent effort to vaccinate as many students and community members before the start of fall quarter comes on the heels of a recent announcement that Highline College will become a vaccination-required campus starting Sept. 27, 2021.
The college has hosted several vaccine pop-up clinics since spring 2021 and will continue to find ways to increase access to COVID-19 vaccines.
Vaccine Clinic Information
From 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. every Monday* in September, a vaccine stations will be located in front of Building 6, near the East Parking lot. The clinic will move indoors to Building 4, Room 104, on days the weather prevents it from being outside.
The two-dose Pfizer and Moderna vaccines, in addition to the one-dose Johnson & Johnson, will be available. While appointments are highly encouraged and can be made at the links below, they are not required. Additionally, participants should bring their health insurance cards, however, no one will be turned away if they do not have health insurance.
Every participant will get a free pair of Highline College 60th anniversary socks, as the beginning of the 2021-22 academic year marks a significant milestone since the college’s founding in 1961.
For every 50 students who attend the clinic and get vaccinated, the Highline College Foundation will hold a drawing and award a $500 fall quarter scholarship for up to five students. The drawing is open to all student participants and is voluntary. The scholarship money may be used for tuition or college textbooks. Names will be drawn and winners will be contacted.
Get vaccinated, Thunderbirds!
