Can We Move Beyond Inclusion?

  • Highline College Disability Awareness Month 2015

Free Events During Disability Awareness Month

It has been 25 years since the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) passed. During October 2015, Highline College will celebrate the anniversary during Disability Awareness Month with campus events centered on the theme “Moving Beyond Inclusion.”

Moving Beyond Inclusion asks us all to consider how we can help create a future where all doors are open to equal opportunity, full participation and integration. What critical role do you play in enforcing the ADA? What does the ADA mean to you?

All events are free and open to the public and will be held on the college’s main campus.

Questions? Contact Yasmin Mahasongkham at (206) 592-3857 or ymahasongkham@highline.edu.
