Congratulations on activating your ctcLink accounts! If you have not already activated your account, we recommend you do that as soon as possible. The system will be down this weekend, starting at 3 p.m. today, and no new activations will be possible until Monday morning (more information below).

Important Updates
System Down: Starting at 3 p.m. today, Friday, Feb. 19, through 8 a.m. Monday, Feb. 22, students will not be able to access ctcLink because the system is down for North Seattle College, Seattle Central College and South Seattle College’s transition into ctcLink. Eventually, all 34 community and technical colleges will be in the new system and future “blackout periods” will happen throughout the year.
Tuition Payments Delayed: Highline College is still in the process of transitioning within the new system, and we’re still working to fix some things. For example, we have not been able to activate the student tuition payment feature in ctcLink. This means that your ability to pay your tuition balance will not be available on Monday, Feb. 22, as planned.
But, fear not! Students who have not paid their winter quarter tuition balance, or any other fees, will not be dropped from their classes, nor face any additional charges unless they are on a Nelnet payment plan and don’t satisfy their contract on Feb. 22. There will be no penalties from the college at this time. We will clearly communicate with you when the payment feature in ctcLink is activated. At that time, it will be your responsibility to pay your balance.
Students with a tuition balance, who wish to register for spring quarter classes, will still be able to do so. There are no additional steps to register.
Spring Quarter Registration
Registering for spring quarter classes is just around the corner. While most students won’t begin registering for classes until the first week of March (in 10 days!), some will begin next Thursday, Feb. 25. It is your job to find out when your registration time is and how to register for classes in the new ctcLink system. We’ve provided training, tutorials and will have several support sessions for students on how to do this.
Get ctcLinked!
The last scheduled Get ctcLinked! student ctcLink account activation Zoom help sessions will be Monday and Tuesday. View times and dates for these support sessions to get virtual assistance and troubleshoot any problems you may have when activating your ctcLink account. You can attend one of these sessions if you don’t write down your ctcLink ID upon activation or if you have any other issues with logging in. If you’re unable to attend a Zoom session, contact the ITS Help Desk at helpdesk@highline.edu if you’ve lost your ctcLink ID.
