Our Annual Women's Spring Celebration

Each Spring we are proud to host local honorary guests as keynote speakers, during our annual Women's Celebration when we present our WOMEN IN ACTION AWARDS and sponsor a raffle giveaway. The raffle is a yearly fund-raiser that we sponsor in order to raise funds for our Emergency Funds Scholarships. Click on the links below to view these events from past events.

Ms. Gandy has been featured in magazines and publications such as Oprah's O, Essence, Black Enterprise, Empowering Women, Today's Black Woman, Emerge, Heart & Soul, Empowering Women, Woman's Day, Family Digest, the Seattle Times, the Olympian, the New York Daily News, and the Atlanta Metro.

In addition to being a popular guest on over 35 radio shows, she also has been featured on TV on CNN, CNN Live, Good Day New York, Good Morning Texas, the Wisdom Channel and a host of Regional News programs.

She is also wife to a fabulous husband and mother to 3 amazing daughters....She believes that a woman CAN have it all.

Women Awards

Every year Women's Programs and WorkFirst Services recognizes campus women who have overcome major obstacles and accomplished great things.

In recognition of these women, we solicit nominations of staff, faculty and students that others feel are deserving of this award.

We present these awards at the annual Women's Celebration.
