Transfer benefits from another college
If you have received benefits at another college but want to come to Highline now:
- Complete a Place of Training Change
Form 22-1995 or
Form 22-5495 (for dependants).
These forms are also available at the Registration front counter
in the lower lobby of Building 6.
- Make an appointment to see the Veterans Coordinator. Please bring a certified copy (or the
original) of the member 4 portion of your
DD-214 (if applicable) and copies of all
applicable military transcripts.
- Request that
official transcripts be sent to Highline for evaluation from all college/vocational
schools previously attended. Please Note:
Students are required to submit official transcripts from other
schools within two quarters of attendance at Highline.
- Once you have registered for classes, an
Enrollment
Certification Request Form must be submitted to
the Veterans Coordinator before your enrollment will be certified to VA.
What program?
Nearly all Highline programs are VA approved.
Only those classes that apply towards your degree can be used for your VA benefits. Please obtain a copy of the curriculum guide for the program you choose and be sure to work very closely with your curriculum advisor.
Questions? Contact the Highline
Veterans Coordinator.
