Steps to continue Running Start:  Here's what you will need to do

  1. After the third week of the quarter, pick up a Running Start Authorization form at your high school or Highline's High School Programs office (Building 6)

  2. Meet with your high school counselor, review your diploma requirements and have your form signed.

  3. Have your parent sign your form.

  4. Turn in your completed form to Highline's High School Programs office.

  5. Meet with your HCC advisor to discuss your college degree and class schedule.

  6. Access your registration appointment and register for classes online at www.highline.edu.

Reminder* Running start will cover up to 18 college-level credits.  You will need to pay for any credits above 18, courses below 100, or those taken for audit.  Running start is not offered during summer quarter.
