The 6th Annual GlobalFest: Saturday, May 10, 2008
This
annual festival includes food, performances and displays
from around the world. Guests can visit country-themed booths
and meet people who have an interest in sharing information about
different places and cultures. It's a great opportunity to
learn about other customs and traditions and enjoy some really great
food. Take a look at our

CULTURE BOOTHS:
Japan, Korea, China,
Vietnam, Turkey, Indonesia, Pakistan, Thailand, Singapore, Nigeria,
and many more.
PERFORMANCES:
Pakistan, Pacific Islands,
Hong Kong, Japan, Vietnam, Russia, an International Fashion Show and
more.
FOOD:
Pasta Primavera, Arroz con
Pollo, Polynesian-Kaluah Pork, Borsht, Kenyan Samosas, and German
Cherry Strudel
ACTIVITIES: Origami, Chopsticks lesson, Games, Door Prizes and more.
Highlights from the 5th Annual GlobalFest
GlobalFest 2007 was fantastic! We had culture booths and
beautiful costumes from
around the world, as well as activities such as henna tattoos, photo backdrops,
origami paper folding, games,
fortunes, calligraphy, and drumming lessons.
The performances were amazing! The audience was entertained
with the music and dance talents of Highline's diverse community of
students.
