1) Application

Mail or fax the Kaplan Aspect application form (You need to install the Adobe Acrobat Reader).

2) Proof of financial eligibility, which must include one of the following:

A copy of your, your parent's, or your sponsor's bank statement confirming that you have the required funds for your chosen course of study.

-or-

A letter from a bank confirming required funds are available.

If the bank letter or statement is not in your name, then you must also submit a letter of guarantee of financial support from your sponsor.

Documents must be dated within the past 60 days and should be in English.

3) $110 non-refundable application fee

When all of the materials have arrived at Kaplan Aspect, we will issue a Form I-20.
It usually takes 24 hours to issue the form, plus express delivery time to your home or office.

Next Steps

With the form I-20, you will:

• Pay your $100 SEVIS fee online at www.fmjfee.com and print your receipt to bring with you to your interview.
   
• Make an appointment at your local U.S. Embassy or Consulate.
   
• Prepare for your visa interview; for tips see Highline’s visa help page
   
• Go to your interview to get your visa from the U.S. government.
   
• With your visa in hand, make flight and housing arrangements.
