Our Facilities

Highline Student Union
Our newest building on campus is the heart of student life at Highline. It's a convenient place to meet with friends or study groups, play ping pong or relax on the outdoor patio
or in the Fireside Bistro.
Computer Centers
The Instructional Computing group provides technology support Highline students and faculty. Computers with high-speed internet access are available throughout campus for you to use. PCs and Macs are available.
The Library
The Highline library is a place where literary, artistic and reference materials such as books, magazines, newspapers and a variety of media sources are available for student use. You can access the library collection online from any computer and find out information about hours and services at http://flightline.highline.edu/library/.
Athletics
The Highline campus is home to the Thunderbirds. The athletics department is dedicated to the academic, athletic, and social growth of each student-athlete. Students can participate in basketball, soccer, volleyball, wrestling, softball, cross-country and track for serious competition or just for fun. There are many recreational sporting opportunities and equipment available for student use.
Fitness Center
The
Fitness Center is a 2,000 square foot space containing
cardio, strength, and flexibility training areas. Cardio equipment
includes treadmills, elliptical trainers, stationary bikes, and
stair climbers. Strength equipment includes Cybex variable
resistance machines, free weights, and dumbbells. The Fitness Center
is used for Physical Education classes and is also available for
open hours for student, faculty, and staff use.
Central Washington University Branch
Now you can earn a Bachelor degree on the Highline campus through Central Washington University (CWU). The
CWU-Des Moines campus will offer degrees in Accounting, Business Administration, Elementary Education, Law and Justice and General Studies. You can complete a two-year associate degree at Highline, and then transfer to CWU. If you earn a 3.0 or higher in your Writing 101 and 105 classes, you can transfer without taking the TOEFL!
