The Enhancement Program offers high school students the opportunity
to take classes at Highline Community College. Eligible
students
may take classes to fulfill high school graduation requirement,
satisfy prerequisites for another course, begin a college degree, or
for personal enrichment.
Eligibility
You must be at least sixteen years old as of the first day of the
quarter. Under this program you will still
be enrolled in your high school, but taking classes at
Highline
Community College.
Steps to Apply
Step 1
Check eligibility requirements.
Step 2
Meet with your high school counselor to discuss your educational
plans and complete the Enhancement Authorization form. Forms are
also available at your high school or Highline Community College's
High School Programs office. (Building
6)
Step 3
Complete the online Highline Community College admissions
application and pay the
application fee.
Step 4
Take the complete
COMPASS assessment. Photo ID is required to take the assessment.
