Headstart
The Headstart program is a family development
program that provides comprehensive services to eligible children and their
families. Headstart is a federally funded program.
Who is Eligible?
Families with
children who are at least 3 years old by August 31st. Families receiving public assistance
grants and children in foster care are eligible, as are many parents with
limited incomes who are working or in school. Headstart does not
discriminate on the basis of race, creed, color, religion, marital status,
sexual orientation, national origin, sex, age, or mental/sensory/physical
disability.
Please note: You do not
need to be a student of Highline Community College to be eligible for
Headstart.
