Meghann Hall Inspirational Award

Meghann Hall #22 played for Highline Softball during  the 1999 season. On January 31, 2000, she died in the Alaska Airlines flight 261 crash from Mexico that killed 88 people. She is remembered by the team, former players and coaches as a hard working, dedicated, driven pitcher who had a fire within her that inspired her teammates to play well. We have honored her memory with a sign on our field and the Inspirational Award given to a player who epitomizes hard work and dedication to improving herself and her teammates. Mark and Mary Hall and the community of Enumclaw established a scholarship in her name that helps Enumclaw softball players pursue a college education.

The following Highline players have been honored with the Meghann Hall Award:

2000 - Sarah Short
2001 - Sarah Short
2002 - Cherisse Stumpf
2003 - Emma Hinckley and Sara Macris
