Directions to the HCC
Softball Field
HCC Softball Field
Of the 27 softball teams in the NWAACC, Highline is one of only 12 teams
with
its own field on campus. We are proud to host opponents of Highline
Softball on
such a great field. The well-maintained grounds, covered dugouts,
permanent fences
and views of the Puget Sound give us the distinction of having one of
the nicest fields
in the league. Our field is the pride of Facilities Manager, Barry Carel
and Coach Hall
who keep it looking sharp and playable.
From North I-5
Take the Kent-Des Moines Exit and turn right at the light
Choose the right lane (marked Des Moines with an arrow pointing west)
Head through the light on Highway 99 and west toward the Sound
Wind down the hill and look for the left turn lane at 20th Ave W
Turn left and head south on 20th Ave W
Turn left into the North parking lot and head up a big hill into the lot
The field is on the right on a bluff.
Park in the North lot near the field
Locker rooms are next to the field
From South I-5
Take the second exit at the Kent-Des Moines Rd exit
Travel under I-5 and stay in the right lane
Once through the light, choose the right lane (marked Des Moines)
Head through the light on Highway 99 and west toward the Sound
Wind down the hill and look for the left turn lane at 20th Ave W (before
the stoplight)
Turn left and head south on 20th Ave W
Turn left into the North parking lot and head up a big hill into the lot
The field is on the right on a bluff.
