Head Coach Amber Rowe Mosley is a full-time faculty member as well as the Academic Advisor for athletes at Highline Community College. In the Physical Education Department,  Rowe Mosley's course load includes weight training, badminton/pickleball, basketball, college skills lab, principles of coaching, and CPR/First Aid Training.  "Being at the college full time allows me to interact with my athletes outside of basketball practice on a daily basis. Being available to the girls when they need me helps their transition to college life tremendously."

Coach Rowe Mosley comes to Highline from Georgia Southern University (NCAA Division I) where she completed her Master of Science degree in Kinesiology and Coaching. She also served as assistant women’s basketball coach and graduate teaching assistant while at Georgia Southern (2001 – 2003).  While assisting with on court coaching duties, she was also responsible for supervising study hall, recruit correspondence, scouting report development and administration.

Coach Rowe Mosley taught in the Physical Education department at Georgia Southern University as well where she earned Graduate Assistant of the Year honors in 2002 and 2003. Her teaching load included weight training, volleyball, softball, and coaching basketball theory.

Prior to her stint at Georgia Southern University, Rowe Mosley was the Varsity Girl’s Basketball Coach at Potlatch High School in Potlatch, Idaho. During her two years with the Lady Loggers, she brought fundamentals and a genuine interest in basketball to the young and inexperienced players at Potlatch.  During her tenure the team finished fourth in the district tournament (1999 – 2001).

Before her hiring at Potlatch, Coach Rowe Mosley served as the Varsity Assistant Basketball Coach at Moscow High School in Moscow, Idaho. The team finished Idaho State Runner-Up in their first year in the 4A division (1998 – 1999). Rowe Mosley was also the Varsity Assistant Volleyball Coach for three years at Moscow (1998 – 2000).

Collegiately, she played basketball at Eckerd College (NCAA Division II) in St. Petersburg, Florida for two years but knee injuries cut short her playing career
(1996 – 1998). Rowe Mosley transferred to the University of Idaho where she graduated cum laude with a degree in Physical Education. While at Idaho, she majored in Sport Science and Sport Psychology (1998 – 2000).

In addition to coaching, Rowe Mosley spent time as a sport specific training and conditioning specialist at Acceleration Indiana.

Coach Rowe Mosley is originally from Indianapolis, Indiana where she was a four-sport varsity athlete at Roncalli High School.
