The Men's Basketball Team
came back from a 2 point halftime
deficit
at home and defeated the South Puget Sound Community
College Clippers 87-81 (box). The Thunderbirds were
led in scoring by
Julian Fernandez
with 22 points. Dan Young controlled the
boards, with 19 rebounds, 10 of them off the
offensive glass.
Darnell Williams,
playing all but three minutes of the game,
added 17 points and a team leading 9 assists.

Highline 66 to 52 (box).
Trailing by 5 at the half, the T-Birds outscored the
Clippers 41-22 in the second half.
Highline was
led by Ariassa Wilson, who had 20 points, 7
rebounds, and 9 assists. Lauren Hill chipped in with
12 points and 5 rebounds, and
Tera McCann-Soushek contributed 10
points and 6 boards. Highline dominated the
glass, outrebounding SPSCC 40-27 and shot 54% from
the field while holding the Clippers to 30%
shooting.

the Men's Wrestling Team finished 1-2, losing
39-9 to
Iowa Central Community College (results)
and 26-15 to
Northwest College (results),
and winning its meet against
Western Wyoming College 29-15 (results).
Successful Highline wrestlers included
Jason
Gray and Marshall Giovaninni, who both went 3-0 in
their individual matches, Sam Ottow winning his only
match (1-0), Jason Purves (2-1), and Aaron Smith
(1-1).
