November News
this just in....

The Women's Volleyball team wins its first-round playoff match (Nov.19) over Skagit Valley (25-23,25-15,25-17) box.  Next up, Highline takes on Blue Mountain, 38-6 in the regular season, and coming off a first-round playoff win against Clackamas.
 

Congratulations to HCC Volleyball Team members Davina Fuiava and Jennifer Mooth, both named to the first team of the 2009 NWAACC West Region Volleyball All-Stars, and to Ashley Nguyen, named to the second team.

 #7 in the nation by Intermat,
its highest ranking ever.

Highline has 5 wrestlers ranked in the country.  Justin Purves is ranked #4 at 125 lbs.  Aaron Smith 133, is ranked #3, Jason Gray is ranked #10, Marshall Giovaninni is ranked #2, and lastly Hwt. David Lopez is ranked #4.   Coach Scott Norton says this is one of the best teams Highline has ever had, and to make sure you don’t miss a meet.   The Thunderbirds will be at home Dec. 1 against Yakima at 7:00 PM. 


The Highline Sports Week in Review Nov. 9 - Nov. 15

The Women's Volleyball team (Nov. 11)wins its 30th match this season by defeating Lower Columbia Community College box and clinches a spot in the NWAACC playoffs beginning Nov. 19 at Mt. Hood Community College (Gresham, OR).

The Women's team plays Peninsula College in a 12pm pre-season game

Clark College pays a visit at 1pm

The opponent is Clark College;
game time is 3pm.

January 13, 2010:  Men's Wrestling
The North Idaho Dual takes place in the Pavilion at 7pm.
