Transcript Evaluation Information
This information is for students who have taken courses at other
colleges and may want to transfer those credits to Highline. (For
HCC Graduation
Evaluations, please go to Graduation Information.)
Should I get my transcripts from other
schools evaluated?
It is necessary to get an
evaluation of official transcripts from other schools if you plan to
earn a degree or certificate at Highline.
If you do not plan to earn a degree or certificate at Highline, it
is not necessary to get an official evaluation of your transcripts
from other schools.
If you are taking classes at Highline for which the prerequisite
class was taken elsewhere, you may use an unofficial copy with
picture ID. Bring the unofficial copy and picture ID to the department offering the class or to
the Educational Planning and Advising Center for an entry code to
override prerequisites.
