Participation in Commencement is not required to receive your
degree, certificate or high school diploma.

It is NOT too late to participate in the commencement ceremony, but it IS too late to have your name appear in the program.

Upon receipt of the Invitation Letter in May, you must
RSVP if you plan to
participate in Commencement. Instructions will be in the
Invitation Letter. (Participation in Commencement is
not required to receive your Degree, Certificate or High School
Diploma as they are mailed at a later date.)

Included with the Invitation Letter will be further
instructions:

When and where to pick up your
Commencement Packet which includes cap, gown, tassel, announcements and
guest tickets. (Please note there will be a charge of $30 plus tax.)

You will get an "Instructions
for Graduates" brochure which will contain detailed instructions for graduates and their guests,
including maps, for the day of
commencement.

Cap and Gown
- Available for purchase at the
Bookstore: cap, gown, tassel, 10 announcements and 8 tickets to the event
- Cost: $30

Guest
Tickets

Each graduate will be given eight (8) guest tickets.

If you need more tickets,
sign up to get your name on the
waitlist
Extra guest tickets are on a first-come first-served basis

If you do not need all your tickets, please
turn in the extras to Student Programs. (HSU, building 8, 3rd
floor)

Please do not ask for tickets in the Registration and
Records office or the Bookstore as we will not have any tickets.
