What is STEPP?
The Student Tuition Easy Payment Plan (STEPP)
program allows you to pay for your education on an interest free
installment plan that makes budgeting the costs easier. Payments are
made in three installments. (Two installments summer quarter.) There
is a nonrefundable $35 enrollment fee.

What does it cover?
The STEPP Payment Plan covers your tuition and
class fees for every quarter you enroll in the plan. It does not
cover books, parking costs or fines.

How do I enroll in the plan?
As soon as you register for a minimum of 5
credits you can enroll in STEPP by this easy process:

Fill out a STEPP Enrollment Form at the Cashier's Office, Building
6, lower level.

Pay the $35 nonrefundable enrollment fee and the first installment
of your quarterly tuition and fees using your personal check, cash,
or credit card (VISA or MasterCard)

When are payments due?
Three installments are due according to this
schedule:

**If a payment date falls on a holiday or weekend, the

For example, if your quarterly tuition and fees for fall quarter
total $890, your payments would be as follows:

1st installment (due at enrollment): $332
(one-third of tuition and fees [$297] plus
enrollment fee)

2nd installment (due October 15): $297

What if I am late with a
payment?
Payments received after the 15th day of the
month in which it is due will be assessed a late payment fee.
If the payment is not received by the 20th of the month, the student
will be dropped from current courses.

Where do I make my payments?
Make your payments one of three easy ways using
your personal check, cash, or credit card (VISA or MasterCard only).

What if I Add or Drop classes?
Changes in your schedule can have an impact on
the amount of tuition and fees that you owe. You must notify the
Cashier's Office of any changes to your class schedule.
Refunds will be made according to Highline Community College
refund
policy. Please refer to the Important Dates Calendar for
refund
dates.
