The Honors Colloquy Offers Another Quarter of "Opening
Doors"
Next
quarter's Honors Colloquy again centers on the theme of "Opening
Doors." We will begin with HCC graduate Ted Colby, now a 4.0
student at Seattle University, telling his own story of getting doors to
open. The rest of April will feature three distinguished female
voices, Justice Bobbe Bridge, Dr. Mara Adelman, and Dr. Ann Marie
Kimball, recounting the doors they have encountered and worked their way
through in the process of becoming a Washington State Supreme Court
Justice, a Seattle University tenured professor in Intercultural
Communication, and the University of Washington Director of Community
Medicine.
Colloquy
means conversation. Come engage the experts in regard to
"opening doors," how to recognize an opening door when you see
it, how to get doors to open. Anyone interested will be encouraged
to join in. Colloquy presentations usually take place on Wednesdays
at 1:10 p.m. in Building 7. The are open to the public.
