Foundations
Annual Campaign The Highline Community College Foundation’s 2001-2002 annual campaign has reached the halfway point and results to date are very encouraging. As of December 31, 2001 contributions have totaled approximately $170,000, which includes employee payroll deductions of $10,000. To date eleven of the Foundation’s 15 Board members have stepped-up to President Chuck Hamilton’s challenge and have contributed a minimum of $1,000 each. The Board of Directors established a goal of $350,000 this year in contributions income to be reached by June 30, 2002. Funding of scholarships has also been encouraging. Members of the board have been giving presentations to service clubs in our surrounding communities encouraging scholarship funding and results have been positive. The annual campaign is on going… it is never too late to give. If you would like additional information and would like a payroll deduction form, contact the Foundation at ext. 3774. Thank you to those employees who have stepped forward to help the Foundation reach it’s goal and in turn assist students and programs at HCC. _____________________________ Welcome
