Artist’s bio: Joyce Roberts
specializes in acrylic paintings, but she has also used a wide variety of
materials, including pastels, pen and ink, pencil and mixed media, and
styles from realistic to abstract/pop
art expressions.
She came to Washington state 38 years ago
from the San Francisco Bay Area. Her training includes coursework at the
University of California-Berkeley and Cuesta College-San Luis Obispo in
California, as well as instruction from professional artists in Seattle,
Portland and Morro Bay, Calif.
Her artwork has been exhibited in many Bay Area locations and San Luis
Obispo, as well as juried art shows around the Puget Sound.
