Trustees Announces Finalists for Highline
Community College
President

MOINES, Wash. Today, the Board of Trustees
announced five finalists it will interview for the position of president of Highline Community College. The finalists are (in
alphabetical order):

- John Garmon, PhD Chief Academic Officer of New
Mexico State University, Carlsbad, NM
- Randall Lawrence Vice President for
Instruction of Olympic College, Bremerton,
WA
- Julie Leidig, PhD Vice President and Chief Academic
Officer of Montgomery College, Houston,
TX

Highline Community
College
was founded in 1961 as the first community college in
King County. With approximately 9,500 students and
350,000 alumni, it is one of the states largest institutions of higher
education. The college offers a wide range of academic transfer and
professional-technical education programs, with day, evening, on-line, and
weekend classes.
