Event:               Highline Community College’s 10th Annual Unity Through Diversity Week

Dates:               April 23–27, 2007

Price:               Free (except for Global Fest 2007)

Location:            Highline Community College’s main campus (see “Times/Details” below)

Highline’s main campus is located midway between Seattle and Tacoma off South 240th Street and Pacific Highway South (Highway 99); address: 2400 S. 240th St., Des Moines, WA 98198.

Description:      Unity Through Diversity Week explores and celebrates the diversity of race, gender, class, sexual orientation, ability and religion. The weeklong program—united by the theme, “Empowering Communities: Moving Beyond Individualism”—will include free educational events, programs and activities.

Highline Community College was founded in 1961 as the first community college in King County.
