Location:            Highline Community College’s main campus, Building 3, Room 102; NOTE: April 27 seminar will be in Building 29, Room 309

Highline’s main campus is located midway between Seattle and Tacoma off South 240th Street and Pacific Highway South (Highway 99); address: 2400 S. 240th St., Des Moines, WA 98198.

Description:      Each week during the quarter, a different faculty member or guest speaker will present a topic in his or her specialty area concerning new discoveries and innovations in science and technology. Seminars are free to the public, but students can also enroll in the series to earn credit. The Science Seminar Series—which runs fall, winter and spring quarters—is in its eighth year.
