Campus Facilities

Campus facilities include a theater, gymnasium, lecture hall, cafeteria, student union, tutoring lab, writing lab, and child care center. Classrooms contain modern equipment to support specific professional-technical education programs. Computer technology, engineering technology, and printing are examples of programs with excellent classroom facilities.

Highline frequently makes facilities and cultural activities available to the general public as well as to students and employees. Special events, concerts, plays, and musical performances are usually open to the public. Meeting rooms may be rented by community groups at a nominal rate. Campus Tours

If you would like to visit our campus, you can arrange a tour through our Outreach Services office, 206-878-3710, ext. 3935. For group tours, we will be happy to tailor our presentation to meet your organization’s needs and interests.

Off-Campus Locations

Credit classes are also held at various locations in the community. Our main extension is the Federal Way Campus, 33320 1st Way South in Federal Way, telephone: 206-870-3757. Parking permits are not required. For the complete list of off-campus locations, see the quarterly class schedule.

Main Campus
Physical Location: 2400 South 240th Street, Des Moines

Use the Kent-Des Moines exit from I-5.

• Proceed west to Pacific Highway South.
• Turn left and drive south to South 240th Street.
• Turn right and drive west one block.
• Turn right into the college parking lot.

Use visitor parking for registration.

Federal Way Campus
Physical Location: 33320 1st Way S.
Campus Square Office Park, Bldg. A

Use I-5 exit 143 (S. 320th St.).

• Drive west on S. 320th, past Sea-Tac Mall and Pacific Highway South to 1st Avenue South.
• Turn left on 1st Avenue South (which becomes 1st Way South).
• Drive south approximately one mile.

 

We are on the left side of the street between Windermere Real Estate buildings.

• Turn left on South 333rd Street.
• Turn right into Campus Square Office Park.
• Proceed to the south parking lot.

Parking is free, and the registration office is on the first floor.
