HIGHLINE COMMUNITY COLLEGE

POLICY FOR INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS

Given the changing dimension of the American work place and a greater societal expectation for an understanding of and appreciation for diverse cultures, Highline Community College actively supports opportunities for intercultural exchange between American and international students at our college.  In order to ensure that Highline students, faculty, and staff derive the greatest benefit from having the College enroll international students, and that these same students derive the full educational and cultural value from their Highline experience, the College will create and International Student Advisory Committee which will establish internal policies and procedures for admitting, orienting, and advising international students.
