locations of fire extinguishers and how to use them.
2. Identify
at least two possible evacuation routes.
3. Know the
locations of pull alarms.
4. Make
sure emergency phone numbers are located on or near your telephone.
If you
discover a major fire:
1. Evacuate
immediately. Do not attempt to control a major fire.
2. Activate
the nearest pull alarm.
3. If there
is heavy smoke, stay low to the floor while evacuating. (See
"Building Evacuation" procedures for additional instructions.)

Earthquake

fall.
3. If
you are inside, stay inside.
Do not go outside.

Get

|
|
If
your desk or table moves, move with it. |
|
|
Turn
away from windows and other glass. |
|

If a
desk or table is not available, move to an inside wall and/or
stand in a doorway with you back toward the hinged side of
the door. Hold the other side of the doorway with your

After the initial earthquake, be prepared for additional
"aftershocks." Generally, these are smaller in intensity than the
main quake.
