The Library is open during fall, winter and spring quarters Monday-Friday 7:00am – 10:00pm, Saturday 9:00am – 5:00pm, Sunday 2:00pm – 10:00pm.  Call extension 3234 with any questions about the Library.

The Library Catalog is available online at http://flightline.highline.edu/library/index.html.

Can anyone check out materials and equipment from the library?

Your HCC ID card is required to check out library materials. Equipment is available for instructional purposes.

For equipment booking, contact Instructional Computing at ichelp@highline.edu or ext. 4880. 24 hours notice is required for equipment requests. 

For video and audio production, satellite downlink, and duplication, contact Instructional Design at id@highline.edu.

For materials booking, it is best to email Library Circulation Services in the Global Directory or LIBCIRC@highline.edu. Circulation Services suggests that you book your media materials as early as possible to ensure availability. Call extension 3234 with any questions about media or print materials.

Is library instruction available for my classes?

Library instruction for your class is available by scheduling with the Reference Department staff.  Call extension 3232 or email REFHELP@highline.edu  for more information.

How do I place material on reserve for my students?

You may place print or media materials for your classes on reserve at the Circulation desk. Please allow three working days for processing of your reserve items.  Books and media materials may be from the library collection or you may also put personal copies on reserve.  Call extension 3234 for reserve questions.
